The expert meeting was attended by prominent experts – authors of articles and heads of thematic clusters readers "Migration in Russia: the first decade of the XXI century. 2000-2012 ", which RIAC is planning to publish at the end of 2012 - The President of Center for the Study of Forced Migration in the CIS J. Zayonchkovskay, Deputy Head of the State program to assist the voluntary resettlement of Russian compatriots living abroad, the Department of International Russian Ministry of Regional Development of relations O. Vykhovanets, the President of the fund "Migration of the XXI century" V. Postavnin, the Head of the study and prevention of extremism, xenophobia of the Institute of Sociology Academy of Sciences V. Mukomel, the Head of the history, theory and methodology RSSU T. Yudina, Deputy Head of the Department of Demography Institute of Demography HSE L. Karachurina, Leading Researcher at the Institute of Geography RAS P. Polian, leading researcher at the Institute of Demography HSE H. Mkrtchyan, expert at the Center for Migration Studies D. Poletaev. The meeting was opened by the RIAC's Director-General A. Kortunov.

During the meeting, the experts discussed the opportunities for broad cooperation with the Russian International Affairs Council. It was suggested to organize some events and to publish a new format of the materials on migration issues. The main part of the meeting was devoted to the refinement of the status of compiling the chrestomathy.
