On July 12, 2022, a regular online international expert dialog on Russia-NATO relations took place, bringing together experts, former diplomats and military, public leaders from Russia, the USA, and European NATO member-states.

The organizers of the dialog on the Russian side included RAS Institute for the U.S. and Canadian Studies and RAS Institute of Europe. The meeting focused on the outcomes and consequences of the NATO summit in Madrid. Reports at the meeting were made by Sergey Rogov, Academic Director of RAS Institute for the U.S. and Canadian Studies (ISKRAN), RIAC Member; Andrei Zagorsky, Head of the Department for Disarmament and Conflict Resolution Studies at RAS IMEMO, RIAC Member; and Alexei Gromyko, Director of RAS Institute of Europe, RIAC Member.

The event was also attended by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and Vladimir Baranovsky, RIAC Member, Head of RAS Research Center for Situational Analysis.
