The Russian International Affairs Council is presenting a report "Russia in International Science and Technology Cooperation: Brief Overview and Development Issues" covering the current status of Russian science in comparative perspective, an analysis of Russia's key objectives and tasks for raising international competitiveness of science, an outline of Russian law on international science and technology cooperation, basic problems to be handled through the international cooperation, and recommendations for advancing Russia's interests along cooperative lines. To this end, on July 4, 2014, RIAC will hold a roundtable "Russia's International Science and Technology Cooperation" with the participation of RIAC members, diplomats from EU embassies in Moscow, as well as representatives of leading Russian research institutions, science funds, universities, ministries, agencies, business structures, and science cooperation experts.

Publication of the report offers a proper occasion for launching a broad discussion of various aspects pertaining to Russia's cooperation in the international science and technology field.   

To this end, on July 4, 2014, RIAC will hold a roundtable "Russia's International Science and Technology Cooperation" with the participation of RIAC members, diplomats from EU embassies in Moscow, as well as representatives of leading Russian research institutions, science funds, universities, ministries, agencies, business structures, and science cooperation experts.
