On November 15, 2018, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, met with representatives of Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF). Arvind Gupta, VIF Director, Kanwal Sibal, Ambassador of India to Russia (2004–2007), Anil Wadha, Honorary Research Fellow of the Foundation, and Harinder Sekhon, Senior Research Fellow, participated in the meeting from the Indian side.

On November 15, 2018, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, met with representatives of Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF). Arvind Gupta, VIF Director, Kanwal Sibal, Ambassador of India to Russia (2004–2007), Anil Wadha, Honorary Research Fellow of the Foundation, and Harinder Sekhon, Senior Research Fellow, participated in the meeting from the Indian side.

The participants of the meeting discussed current issues and perspective areas for Russia-India relations. Particular attention was paid to RIAC and VIF joint projects.

In 2017, the Council and the Foundation held a bilateral conference «India-Russia Relations and the Way Forward» in New Delhi and prepared the first joint report of the Russian and Indian experts «70th Anniversary of Russia-India Relations: New Horizons of Privileged Partnership».
