On May 1, international conference “The Future of Western-Russian Intellectual Cooperation: A New Deal for Meaningful and Sustainable Partnerships” was held in Washington, DC.

Organized by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the forum was attended by government officials, representatives of major global charities and U.S. universities, leaders of Western and Russian NGOs, journalists and experts. The Conference was addressed by RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov and Director of Carnegie Moscow Center Dmitry Trenin.
