The following issues were discussed in the course of the meeting: prospects for development of Russia-the U.S. relations in the context of the presidential elections held in Russia and the succession of the leadership in the U.S. Department of State, possible areas for Russia-the U.S. cooperation in situations of crisis and political dynamics in Washington D.C. on pursuing dialog with Moscow.

On March 19, 2018, Igor Ivanov, RIAC President, had a meeting with Jon Huntsman, Ambassador of the United States to Russia.

The following issues were discussed in the course of the meeting: prospects for development of Russia-the U.S. relations in the context of the presidential elections held in Russia and the succession of the leadership in the U.S. Department of State, possible areas for Russia-the U.S. cooperation in situations of crisis and political dynamics in Washington D.C. on pursuing dialog with Moscow.

Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and U.S. Embassy in Moscow staff also took part in the meeting.
