On September 12, 2013 at 16.00, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) will host a discussion on "Russia's BRICS Strategy: Goals and Instruments" to mark the second anniversary of the National Committee for BRICS Studies’ establishment (NCBS).

On September 12, 2013 at 16.00, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) will host a discussion on "Russia's BRICS Strategy: Goals and Instruments" to mark the second anniversary of the National Committee for BRICS Studies’ establishment (NCBS).

The event will be opened by senior officials from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also representatives of the Russkiy Mir Foundation and Russian International Affairs Council.

The program includes the presentation of collected research papers by the NCBS "Russia's BRICS Strategy: Goals and Instruments" and a discussion of relevant, related issues, including::

 

- Russia's interests and opportunities for cooperation within the BRICS format.

- Key challenges and problems facing Russia, Brazil, India and China in relation to their BRICS membership.

- Agenda proposals for Russia's BRICS chairmanship, 2015.

 

The event will be held at RIAC: 1 Bolshaya Yakimanka Street, Conference Hall, Alexander House Business Center.
