On October 15, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov met New Zealand Ambassador to Russia Hamish Cooper and Deputy Head of Mission Jennifer Wilton to discuss bilateral cooperation in the context of the 70-year anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and New Zealand to take place in April 2014.

On October 15, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov met New Zealand Ambassador to Russia Hamish Cooper and Deputy Head of Mission Jennifer Wilton to discuss bilateral cooperation in the context of the 70-year anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and New Zealand to take place in April 2014.

The parts focused on prospects for expanding cooperation in education and research, contacts between independent think tanks of the two countries, and various aspects of the situation in Asia Pacific and global governance, with Dr. Kortunov presenting RIAC's recent reports on these issues.
