On June 30, 2020, under the auspices of the Think Tanks & Civil Societies Program of the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania, the third online global meeting of independent think tanks was held to discuss the new priorities and features of the organizations in the context of the coronavirus pandemic and the onset of recession.

On June 30, 2020, under the auspices of the Think Tanks & Civil Societies Program of the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania, the third online global meeting of independent think tanks was held to discuss the new priorities and features of the organizations in the context of the coronavirus pandemic and the onset of recession.

The meeting was held to summarize the results of the work of the five groups created earlier for the preparation of specific proposals to improve the efficiency of think tanks within the new circumstances. RAS IMEMO and RIAC traditionally represented Russia at the meeting.
