On July 1, 2022, Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS), in partnership with The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University, held the seventh online international high-level expert round table, dedicated to the trends in the development of world politics in the context of acute recent crises.

On July 1, 2022, Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS), in partnership with The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University, held the seventh online international high-level expert round table, dedicated to the trends in the development of world politics in the context of acute recent crises.

The session addressed various aspects of the latest changes in the military situation in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the state of the prisoner-of-war exchange process, the possibility of resuming the export of Ukrainian grain, and the prospects for the parties to return to diplomatic dialogue. Leading international researchers from China, the USA, Great Britain, Ukraine, and Russia took part in the event. Russian side was represented at the event by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General.
