On March 6, 2018, at the residence of the Turkish Ambassador to Moscow, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, had a meeting with Huseyin Dirioz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Moscow.

On March 6, 2018, at the residence of the Turkish Ambassador to Moscow, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, had a meeting with Huseyin Dirioz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Moscow.

The following issues were discussed in the course of the meeting: the current state of Russia-Turkey relations, interaction in economic and political sectors. The sides also touched upon the issues of Syrian crisis resolution and the situation in the Middle East in general. Moreover, the prospects for developing connections and joint projects with Turkish think tanks were outlined. 

Timur Makhmutov, RIAC Deputy Director of Programs, and Ruslan Mamedov, RIAC Program Coordinator, took part in the event. Turkey was represented by Gulru Gezer and Yunus Yilmaz, Advisers to the Turkish Embassy in Moscow.
