On September 24, RIAC presented its educational programs at the MGIMO Open Platform at MGIMO Economic Club. RIAC Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov familiarized future economists with RIAC activities and outlined possible ways for bilateral cooperation. RIAC Education Coordinator Yekaterina Chimiris and Program Coordinator Vladimir Morozov dwelled on educational projects that include summer and winter schools, Global Science, as well as several competitive activities – Global Prospects, and contests for foreign affairs journalists and bloggers.

During the discussion, Sergey Utkin of RAS Center for Situational Analysis and Alexey Fenenko of RAS Institute of International Security Problems, both RIAC experts, expanded on the details of expertise in the foreign relations field, underlining the importance of personal reputation, nonuse of unverified data and rejection of plagiarism due to high competition in expert circles.

Anna Makarenko, MGIMO Economic Club Academic Advisor, focused on significance of textual analysis and invited RIAC to share its practices with MGIMO students.
