On September 4, 2019, the Center for Citizen Initiatives held its fifth annual meeting on harmonization of the relations between Russia and the United States.

The meeting was attended by the US and Russian experts. Pyotr Kortunov, RIAC Program Coordinator, took part in the meeting. The discussion focused on the prospects for the development of Russian-the US relations, Russia's strategy in the Middle East, the possibilities of cooperation between Moscow and Washington in the Middle East region, and other issues.
