RIAC President Igor Ivanov, RIAC General Director Andrei Kortunov, and program director Ivan Timofeev had a consulting meeting with the Rector of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Anatoly Torkunov and provost of MGIMO-University, Artem Malgin, on the prospects of interaction between RIAC and MGIMO-University.

RIAC President Igor Ivanov, RIAC General Director Andrei Kortunov, and program director Ivan Timofeev had a consulting meeting with the Rector of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Anatoly Torkunov and provost of MGIMO-University, Artem Malgin, on the prospects of interaction between RIAC and MGIMO-University.

The main issue discussed at the meeting was joint work on organization and holding of a conference on nuclear disarmament and deterrence in Moscow, in partnership with the Global Zero international organization.

In addition, the meeting also covered the issues of cooperation under RIAC's Global Science and Global Perspectives projects, the format of participation by MGIMO-University management in the Second Asia-Pacific forum, and participation of MGIMO-University at the All-Russia competition of young international journalists.

The New Eastern Europe joint project between RIAC and MGIMO-University was also an important issue discussed at the meeting.
