On February 12, 2021, Igor Ivanov, RIAC President, had a meeting with Paulo Vizeu Pinheiro, Ambassador of Portugal to Russia.

The discussion focused on the issues related to the state and prospects of the development of relations between Russia and the European Union in the context of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, starting from January, as well as the plans for the following traditional scientific-social event prepared by RIAC and the presiding country.

The discussion participants included Marcelo Matias, Counselor and Envoy of the Portuguese Embassy in Russia, Deputy Head of Mission, and Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General.
