On February 11, 2021, the first meeting of the Public Council of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) was held.
The meeting was chaired by Yevgeny Primakov Jr., RIAC Member, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo. The discussion focused on the current and strategic tasks of the Agency, priority areas and formats of activities, as well as the content and procedures of the Public Council's work. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, spoke at the meeting. Alexander Yakovenko, RIAC Member, Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, took part in the discussion.
