On March 10, 2017, Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal agency for the Commonwealth of the Independent States, Compatriots leaving abroad and for the international humanitarian cooperation) held a meeting of International cooperation Working group, which is a part of XIX World Festival of Youth and Students Organization committee. RIAC is one of the event's partnership organizations assisting in content preparation for the Festival. Timur Makhmutov, RIAC Deputy Director of Programs, and Ekaterina Chimiris, RIAC Program Manager, took part in the meeting.

The meeting covered inviting foreign participants and mechanisms of preliminary registration. To serve this objective Russia2017.com has already started working. Representatives of non-profit organizations, universities and government shared their opinions on organization of this big-scale international event. The participants also discussed the issue of visa assistance and sharing the information about the Festival with the targeted audience.

XIX World Festival of Youth and Students is to be held on October, 14-22, 2017 in Moscow, Sochi and other Russian regions. It is planned that over 10, 000 foreign delegations' representatives will take part in the event.
